They then sped away from the cops, going through a red light before hitting a mulch bed on a curb, which caused the car to launch into the air.

The vehicle hit a wall made of stone, a large tree and then a lamppost while in the air, before finally hitting a 2023 Jeep Wrangler parked on North Main Street and a house nearby.

The engine of the Altima was forced from the car the force was so great, police said.

It in turn flew through the air and smashed through the upstairs wall of a house at 73 North Main Street.
