‘Orgasmic cult’ denies forcing members into sex acts branding claims ‘malicious’

An "orgasmic cult" boss has denied forcing members of his organisation to perform sex acts and refuted allegations of locking women in warehouses.

OneTaste founder Nicole Daedone, 56, and head of sales Rachel Cherwitz, 43, were both accused of keeping women in residential warehouses where they were forced into performing sexual acts for the company.

The wellness company, which had been branded as an "orgasmic meditation cult" in claims, has had a slate of allegations levelled at it.

They claim it is part of a "malicious crusade" by a former worker and refuted the allegations, with representatives for the company saying the allegations are "totally false".

Claims from the last several years have been denied by Daedone, Cherwitz, and OneTaste CEO, Anjuli Ayer, who was not present at the company when the allegations were made.

Current CEO Ayer has since spoken out on the "snowballed" allegations of an "orgasmic cult" in his company.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said: "It was utterly devastating. When I acquired the company, I knew that I couldn't ignore how much it changed my life and and how much I wanted women to have access to power like that.

"That's what happened if you look at it. You take women and you take sexuality and then you put it together with a couple of people who are upset in some way and want to tell lies."

Prosecutors believe debt-riddled members who could no longer afford classes were helped into opening credit cards by Daedone and Cherwitz.

Federal charges were since opened, but the company maintains the allegations come from "just one person", which comes nearly a decade after a settlement with former employee Ayries Blanck.

Her lawsuit in 2014, which settled for £250,000 ($325,000), alleged the company had "forced and manipulated her into having sex and taking part in orgasmic meditation with OneTaste staff, supervisors, and customers".

OneTaste has denied the charge, as well as the new allegations levelled at them in an indictment which showed Daedone and Cherwitz accused of grooming employees into having sex with potential OneTaste investors.
