Residents could be heard screaming in horror as a man ran down the street engulfed in flames in a residential neighbourhood in Leeds, according to social media reports.
All three emergency services attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital under police escort, YappApp reported on X, sharing images from the scene.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed to the Daily Star that a person was in hospital and that there had been a individual on fire.

The statement read: "I can confirm that we received a call just after 14:15pm today following reports of a person on fire on Leasowe Avenue in Leeds.
"We despatched a crew from Leeds Fire Station and upon arrival as the fire had been extinguished, firefighters provided support to Yorkshire Ambulance Service, which was treating the injured party.
"The person has since been transferred to hospital."
YappApp, who have drone images from the scene, said on X: "Emergency services rushed to Leasowe Avenue in #Leeds after reports of a man on fire.
"Residents could be heard screaming as the man ran down the street engulfed in flames shortly after 2:10pm today according to neighbours.

"All three emergency services attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital under police escort.
"A scene is currently in place in the area and enquiries are ongoing.
"The man's condition is not yet known but has been described as serious. Crime Scene Investigators remain at the scene this evening."
West Yorkshire Police and West Yorkshire Ambulance Service have also been contacted for comment.
