I sold my used thongs to men on the street – but it was for a good cause
An influencer has been selling her used knickers to strangers on the street, only to give all the proceeds to a struggling mum-of-three who sells ice cream.
Juliana Seligmann said: “I helped the woman support her children. Would you buy them?”
Dressed in a mini skirt, boob tube and knee-high boots, she held up a coat hanger with four thongs hanging off it, calling out to people passing by: “Come buy my used things, they have been worn. They are rich and fragrant, my dears.”
One bloke quickly approached Seligmann, asking about her most recently worn pair to ensure they still had her “essence.”
He reportedly bought a thong from the Colombian influencer for ยฃ9.80 (COP 50,000).
Several other passers-by also approached her, some even taking a sniff test for “quality control” before deciding whether or not to buy.
At the end of the day, Seligmann approached the ice cream seller, telling her: “Today, I went to sell my used underwear and I want to give you this money. I hope it helps you.”
She then handed over her earnings, around ยฃ39 (COP 200,000).
Seligmann shared the video on her TikTok and Instagram pages where she has 2.1 million and 439,000 followers respectively.
