Premier Inn currently has more than 800 hotels in the UK, with locations offering easy access to airports, key transport hubs and top attractions, as well as city centre and even seaside destinations.
Given that it’s a budget hotel, Premier Inn is known for its affordable prices, though its popularity can mean that rooms average around £100 a night – and can be even more in top tourist hotspots. However, there are plenty of ways you can make sure to get the most for your money, and with Black Friday 2023 just around the corner, there are some additional sales in store.
And it’s not just the purse-friendly stays that Premier Inn is known for. It’s also lauded for its mattresses, made in partnership with Silent Night, as well as pillows and blankets. Now, you can take the hotel experience home with you, thanks to Premier Inn’s mattress and bedding range available to buy.

Premier Inn does offer exclusive discounts and deals throughout the year, though these often run on a seasonal basis, so you’ll need to catch them quickly. However, deals can be found even when there isn’t a sale on.

The best day to book for lowest rates
Premier Inn has shared some top tips to help customers get more bang for their buck, and as part of them has revealed the absolute best days to book if you want the “lowest rates”.
According to Premier Inn, the best way to make sure you get the cheapest prices is by “booking early”. This will also ensure you secure a room at your perfect location.
“Our lowest rates are often for rooms on Friday and Sunday nights,” adds Premier Inn on its website. “So, why not work your stay around the weekend and make the most of our great value rooms?”
Buy your own Premier Inn mattress and bedding
If you want to take the hotel experience home with you, the good news is that now you can with Premier Inn at Home. The hotel chain has teamed up with Silent Night to create its carefully crafted, hotel-standard mattress – the Premier Inn Mattress 2.0.
You can choose from a Single right through to a Super King mattress, and Premier Inn even has its own range of luxury divan beds and three designs of bed frames in a choice of eight colours.
Customers on Trustpilot have rated the Premier Inn beds 4.4 stars out of five overall, with one customer named Alexandra stating: “We’re sleeping well. The mattress was easy to choose, easy to order, [a] reasonable price, delivered when promised and comfortable to sleep on”.
Prices for mattresses range, with a single mattress currently on offer from £549, a double from £679, a king from £729 and a super king from £869.
However, with Black Friday just around the corner, there are some impressive deals coming before the end of this week. So if you’re thinking of upgrading your sleep set-up, now could be the perfect time. Keep your eyes peeled and check back to this page.
As well as mattresses and beds, the hotel chain has also released its own range of bedding including pillows and duvets. Pillows are available from £36, while duvets are currently on offer from £30. You can even get mattress protectors as part of their hotel collection, retailing at the time of writing from £25.
But once again, Black Friday deals and sales are ahead, so keep a watchful eye.

Tips to save money on a Premier Inn stay
As part of its money-saving tips, Premier Inn offers a selection of ways to save even more money on your stay. Booking early and opting for less busy days are just two ways you can ensure you get the best rates.
Flexibility can also play a key role in helping bring down the cost of your stay. Premier Inn explained: “Try booking across a range of dates to get the best prices – sometimes avoiding dates when big events are on and being more flexible can pay off.”
If you’re looking for the best deals, the hotel chain recommends trying to book outside of city centres and look at nearby areas instead.
And to help families out, up to two kids can stay and eat breakfast for free with a full-paying adult – though it’s worth noting this is subject to availability.

According to Premier Inn, some of its lowest room rates are only available on the app, which means if you want to make the ultimate saving, you’re best to download the app. The hotel chain added that “you won’t find these rates anywhere else”, and that includes price comparison websites.
