Allan appeared in court on Tuesday (December 12) and pleaded guilty to fraudulently paying for goods and services totalling \u00a32,753.87. <\/p>\n<p>The court heard how Allan and former pal Anna Renton had been &quot;best friends&quot; for nearly two decades, with their children playing together and even joining each other on family holidays. However, Allan ended this friendship with her fraudulent transactions.<\/p>\n<p><b>READ MORE: &apos;Sadistic thugs&apos; who tortured DJ to death in Reservoir Dogs-style execution jailed<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>For more of the latest news from the Daily Star, click here.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor explained that Allan contacted a Mercedes dealership in Newbridge, near Edinburgh, Scotland, in August 2019 and provided a \u00a32000 deposit for a car using Anna&apos;s Barclaycard details, reports the Daily Record.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31663879.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_IMG_8929JPG.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Anna was alerted to unauthorised transactions from her account, including payments for hotels. The matter was reported to the police, and an inquiry began. Allan was cautioned and charged but made no reply.<\/p>\n<p>Defence agent James Stewart revealed that the &quot;relationship&quot; between Allan and Anna had ended in December 2019. <\/p>\n<p>He added: &quot;There has not been any opportunity for Ms Allan to make repayment. Allan admitted using electronic means to pay for goods and services by fraud.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff Peter McCormack deferred sentence on Allan, of the city&apos;s Cammo area, until next month for reports.
