He engages in a brief firefight with the first Hamas gunman before facing a grenade attack &#8211; which he miraculously survives.<\/p>\n<p>Despite sustaining injuries, the soldier rises, confronting and neutralizing the second operative at point-blank range.<\/p>\n<p>Since the evening of October 27 this year, the IDF has been in Gaza Strip as part of a large-scale ground invasion.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the invasion is to dismantle Hamas and oust the organization&#8217;s control over the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n<p>Gaza Health Ministry figures report a minimum of 17,487 Palestinian casualties since then.
