The sex-mad gymnast girlfriend of Russian President Vladimir Putin has been labelled a threat to the UK by AI.

Alina Kabaeva has been the subject of intense discussion in Russian media for the last month or so, after the former Olympic gymnast disappeared without a trace. The 40-year-old was last seen at a gymnastics event in Russian city Sochi, where she gave an interview and stood on stage, but was not seen arriving back in Moscow and hasn't been seen since.

It had been rumoured that she was under house arrest after being linked to the anonymous Kremlin source putting out claims that Putin had died and Russia was being ruled by a body double. However, despite that, Kabaeva was added to the UK's sanctions list earlier this year, and Google's Artificial Intelligence-powered large language model chatbot Bard has ruled her a genuine threat to the UK for three reasons.

When asked by the Daily Star about the Olympian, it said: “It is possible that Alina Kabaeva could pose a threat to the UK.

“As Putin's alleged mistress, Kabaeva has a direct line of communication to the Russian president. This means that she could potentially influence his decisions or provide him with information that could be used to harm the UK. Kabaeva's position as a co-owner of National Media Group, one of Russia's largest media holding companies controlling a number of popular television channels and websites, gives Kabaeva a significant platform to spread propaganda and disinformation.
