The 40-year-old was last seen at a gymnastics event in Russian city Sochi, where she gave an interview and stood on stage, but was not seen arriving back in Moscow and hasn&apos;t been seen since.<\/p>\n<p> It had been rumoured that she was under house arrest after being linked to the anonymous Kremlin source putting out claims that Putin had died and Russia was being ruled by a body double. This means that she could potentially influence his decisions or provide him with information that could be used to harm the UK. Ultimately, the likelihood of her posing a threat depends on her intentions and her willingness to use her position and influence to harm the UK.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is also worth noting that the UK government has already taken steps to mitigate any potential threat from Alina Kabaeva by sanctioning her and freezing her assets.
