The daughter of child killer Ian Huntley has vowed to meet her father for the first time ever in prison if he will give everyone "some peace" and finally reveal the truth about murdering his victims Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.

Samantha Bryan found out the vile murderer was her father when she was a teenager. She's now asked for a face-to-face meeting in prison with the parent she's never met, 20 years after he was sent down for the Soham murders that rocked the nation.

The now 25-year-old says she wants everyone to "know the truth" before the remorseless killer dies. “If my existence means anything to you, I’m pleading with you to finally reveal the whole truth about the murders of Holly and Jessica," she said in a powerful letter to him, The Sun revealed. Best friends Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells, aged 10, were murdered on August 4, 2002, by school caretaker Ian Huntley, now 49. Huntley is serving a life-sentence at HMP Frankland, Durham, for his heinous crime after the cruel killer, who gave appeals to national media during the search, was later arrested.

Huntley was convicted of murdering both girls on December 17, 2003, and sentenced to two terms of life imprisonment, with the High Court later imposing a minimum term of 40 years. His girlfriend, Maxine Ann Carr, who was the girls' teaching assistant, had knowingly provided Huntley with a false alibi and received a three-and-a-half year prison sentence.

In court Huntley claimed both girls', who were ruled to have died from asphyxiation, died accidentally as he lied saying Holly drowned in his bath and that he inadvertently suffocated Jessica while trying to stifle her screams.

In tapes recorded behind bars he later confessed to deliberately killing Jessica to stop her raising the alarm, still insisting Holly died accidentally. He has never revealed what really went down that evening.

Samantha hopes Huntley will finally reveal exactly what happened to the girls after he lured them into his house on the day they were murdered. She wants to be able to tell their heartbroken parents and offer some sense of closure after decades of not knowing the full story.

The young woman said she lives in fear that Huntley will take his secrets to the grave after he's suffered a string of health problems, prison attacks and suicide attempts behind bars.
