ONS data reveals the average price of a pint has risen to \u00a34.57 in the UK this year, which is a whopping 127% higher than the world average. So why not jet off abroad to get boozy instead?<\/p>\n
Vietnam is a great destination for affordable bevs \u2013 and is often considered to have the "cheapest beer in the world". Hanoi sells draught lager for as little as 16p a glass \u2013 and large bottles tend to be less than a quid too.<\/p>\n

Craft beer is huge in Vietnam and you'll find plenty of tiny microbreweries when wandering the streets. Some of the most famous exports include Pasteur Street Brewing Company, Heart of Darkness and East West Brewing Company.<\/p>\n

Flights from London to Hanoi can be snapped up for less than \u00a3300. The journey takes around 12 hours when you fly directly.<\/p>\n
