THE 13 CITIES SERVING THE CHEAPEST PINTS IN THE UK\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Coventry (pictured) is the UK’s cheapest city to buy a pint, according to online database Numbeo\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The second-cheapest city for beer is Newcastle upon Tyne (\u00a34.11 per pint on average)\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This graphic shows Britain’s cheapest and most expensive cities for pints<\/p>\n Topping the ‘cheapest pints’ ranking is Coventry. <\/span>According to Numbeo, an imperial pint of beer in this cathedral city in the West Midlands sells on average for \u00a33.89 ($4.85).<\/p>\n The second-cheapest city for beer is\u00a0Newcastle upon Tyne\u00a0<\/span>(\u00a34.11), with Swansea<\/span>\u00a0in third place. In this Welsh coastal city, experiencing the buzzing nightlife can be fuelled with pints of beer costing just\u00a0\u00a34.36 on average.<\/p>\n Taking fourth spot is\u00a0Aberdeen<\/span>. A pint in this vibrant coastal town will cost you\u00a0\u00a36.66 on average.\u00a0<\/p>\n Taking third spot, Oxford<\/span>\u00a0is next on the list. The prestigious university city sells pints for \u00a35.80 on average. There beer aficionados can expect to pay \u00a35.47 per pint.<\/p>\n Coming in eighth place is Liverpool<\/span>. This famous northern city is home to the longest cathedral in the UK, has more Georgian buildings than Bath, and serves pints costing \u00a35.45.<\/p>\n Next in the ranking comes Norwich<\/span> (ninth\/\u00a35.00), with Portsmouth<\/span> and Glasgow<\/span> tied in 10th place (both \u00a34.99).\u00a0<\/p>\n The ‘expensive’ ranking is completed by Leeds<\/span>, the birthplace of Marks and Spencer. But there is a silver lining – they are a lot lower than the cities with the most expensive beer in Europe.<\/p>\n In Bergen<\/span>, Norway, for instance, pints of beer cost an average of \u00a38.91.
