{"id":121573,"date":"2023-11-08T17:39:35","date_gmt":"2023-11-08T17:39:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lasixlineon.com\/?p=121573"},"modified":"2023-11-08T17:39:35","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T17:39:35","slug":"carol-vorderman-mocked-by-johnny-mercers-wife-with-brutal-binned-by-bbc-swipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lasixlineon.com\/politics\/carol-vorderman-mocked-by-johnny-mercers-wife-with-brutal-binned-by-bbc-swipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Carol Vorderman mocked by Johnny Mercer&#8217;s wife with brutal &#8216;binned by BBC&#8217; swipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Tim Davie admits regret over Gary Lineker affair<\/h3>\n<p>Carol Vorderman has been mocked by one of her main targets after she was sacked by the BBC for breaching their social media policy by using her platform to attack Conservatives on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Felicity Cornelius-Mercer, the wife of Veterans Minister Johnny Mercer, posted a message celebrating BBC Wales&#8217;s decision to ditch the former Countdown Star.<\/p>\n<p>Posting a picture of Vorderman on X, formerly Twitter, Mrs Mercer added the message &#8220;Binned by BBC&#8221; with an emoji of a waste basket.<\/p>\n<p>The message came after the two women have had a long-running feud with Ms Vorderman trolling the MP&#8217;s wife describing her and her husband as &#8220;grifters&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Vorderman even caused huge controversy and was castigated in Parliament when she mocked Mrs Mercer for not having a degree and working as a lifeguard.<\/p>\n<p> <strong> READ MORE: <\/strong> <strong>Carol Vorderman sacked from her BBC Radio show over guideline breach<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The bad blood between the two infamous led to Mr Mercer having a meltdown in the green room about Vorderman ahead of an episode of BBC Question Time.<\/p>\n<p>Questions have been asked for months over how the BBC could continue to claim it is impartial while employing Vorderman when she was conducting a longrunning campaign against the Conservatives including promoting a tactical voting campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Now the BBC has acted against Vorderman, others asked why Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker is allowed to stay in his job.<\/p>\n<p>Just last week Lineker launched another attack on Home Secretary Suella Braverman and expressed his support for pro-Palestinian protest marches which have included supporters of the terrorist group Hamas.<\/p>\n<p>GB News presenter Nana Akua said: &#8220;The BBC have finally done something right and sacked #carolvorderman. We each must make our decisions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m sad to have to leave the wonderful friends I\u2019ve made at Radio Wales. I wish them, and all of our listeners, all the love in the world.
