    Tributes have poured in after a British man serving in the Israeli Army was killed in an attack by Hamas.<\/p>\n

    Corporal Nathanel Young was just 20 when he lost his life today (Sunday, October 8). Young was a soldier in the 13th Battalion, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) revealed following his death.<\/p>\n

    Taking to Facebook, the soldier's family said the news had left them "heartbroken". "Our little brother Nathanel Young was tragically killed on the Gaza Border yesterday," the post read.<\/p>\n

    In another tribute, Young's family added: "Nathanel was full of life and the life of the party \u2013 he carried the nickname DJ on base and at Benji's house, the lone soldier house that he lived at.<\/p>\n

    "He loved his family and friends and was loved by everyone. He loved music and was a talented DJ.<\/p>\n

    "Always willing to go to any lengths for his loved ones. An amazing uncle and brother. He was so happy and thriving in Israel. He loved the country."<\/p>\n

    Young grew up in London and had been a pupil at JFS, a Jewish comprehensive school in the north of the capital. The Jewish News reported he had moved to Israel and was living in the city of Ra'anana at the time of his death.<\/p>\n
