A French heckler has shouted at President Emmanuel Macron during an open-top drive with King Charles III through Paris, demanding the leader \u201cresign\u201d.<\/p>\n
The French President is hosting the British monarch for three days after their original meeting in March was postponed following nationwide protests over Mr Macron\u2019s pension reform.<\/p>\n
As the pair proceeded down the main road through the capital, en route to the presidential Elysee Palace, a heckler could be heard shouting \u201cMacron resignation\u201d.<\/p>\n
The comment was ignored by the monarch and Mr Macron, who waved hello to the crowds as they drove on.<\/p>\n
Mr Macron offered a warm welcome to the new king, often putting his hand on his arm and his back. Both smiled as they chatted together.<\/p>\n
