Britain is set to be battered by stormy weather as the map shows another hurricane moving towards the UK – coming just after ex-Hurricane Lee hits over the next few hours.<\/p>\n
Weather maps show the UK will feel the impact of the remnants of ex-Hurricane Nigel with parts of Wales, northwest England, and western Scotland facing the brunt of the storms from Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n
It comes as several yellow warnings were issued by the Met Office on Tuesday morning with the possibility of flooding across the parts of the UK.<\/p>\n
Tuesday and Wednesday will see rain and windier conditions spread from the west across most parts of the UK, marking a return to more traditional autumnal weather.<\/p>\n
According to the Met Office, the rainfall will be heaviest and most persistent across parts of Wales and northwest England.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cThe weekend\u2019s severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall, and their associated impacts, have marked a transition between the heat of last week and the more Atlantic-dominated weather in the forecast for the coming week.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n DON’T MISS: <\/strong> Speaking about the incoming weather systems, expert Jim Dale said the UK would be hit by three ex-hurricanes rather than two.<\/p>\n Brits can expect to feel much of the impact as the storm travels north after this weekend’s biblical storms.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cThe ashes of ex-hurricanes Lee & Margot impacting the UK next couple of days.<\/p>\n \u201cAfterburners of newly formed Hurricane Nigel, scuffing past northwest Scotland this weekend. More info<\/p>\n According to Netweather, parts of the UK will be hit by high winds and temperatures in the low 20s for some areas.<\/p>\n They said: \u201cThe remnants of Lee are now getting mixed up and are forecast to reach the UK on Tuesday night, with the centre north of Ireland, west of Scotland.<\/p>\n \u201cLater on, Tuesday there will be more windy weather for the Irish Sea with heavy rain for Northern Ireland, Scotland and northwest England, then Gwynedd.<\/p>\n “The spell of wet and windy weather midweek spreads over Wales and England on Wednesday with warm tropical air entrained within the system.\u201d<\/p>\n The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) had predicted that there would be 14 to 21 named storms this year, a number that makes 2023 an above-average year for storms.<\/p>\n The increased number of storms this year is partly due to an El Ni\u00f1o pattern, which natural cycle in the Pacific associated with an increased number of hurricanes which started in June.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/153\/590x\/secondary\/UK-weather-storm-4966631.jpg?r=1695121202832\")
