{"id":119237,"date":"2023-09-11T18:29:04","date_gmt":"2023-09-11T18:29:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lasixlineon.com\/?p=119237"},"modified":"2023-09-11T18:29:04","modified_gmt":"2023-09-11T18:29:04","slug":"terror-group-al-qaeda-still-planning-and-world-is-walking-into-another-9-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lasixlineon.com\/world-news\/terror-group-al-qaeda-still-planning-and-world-is-walking-into-another-9-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Terror group al-Qaeda &#8216;still planning&#8217; and world is &#8216;walking into another 9\/11&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Terror group al-Qaeda is \u201cstill planning\u201d and could cause another 9\/11, an expert has claimed.<\/p>\n<p>Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the terror attack that shocked the world when the the group hijacked and crashed passenger jets into both the World Trade Center&apos;s Twin Towers, New York City, and the Pentagon.<\/p>\n<p>The fourth target, in Washington DC, was not hit due to a passenger revolt, with everyone on board the jet dying. <\/p>\n<p><b>READ MORE: Inside Kim Jong-un&apos;s &apos;pleasure train&apos; full of booze and strippers he&apos;s riding to Putin<\/b><\/p>\n<p>A total of 2,996 people were killed and more than 6,000 others injured after the attacks on that morning, with footage of the attacks being viewed around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Khalid Noor, one of the founding members of the National Resistance Council \u2013 the leading opposition movement in Afghanistan and an umbrella grouping of mostly exiled Afghan political figures, party heads, provincial governors and parliamentarians who oppose the Taliban rule \u2013 has claimed that another 9\/11 event could happened and that the world is \u201csleep walking\u201d into it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30916640.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/4_FILES-US-ATTACKS-911-ANNIVERSARY.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cWhile the Taliban was ousted in the months after 9\/11, the group\u2019s return to power twenty years later in 2021 is the source of acute worry for all fair-minded Afghans watching with concern as terror groups emerge from the shadows with Taliban support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur sources confirm the recent United Nations report that found al-Qaeda is recruiting, training and planning in Afghanistan today, along with 21 other groups with agendas violently opposed to the governments of Pakistan, Uzbekistan and other neighbours.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor Afghans like us who lived through the late 1990s and the first Taliban regime, today has all the same hallmarks of terror storm clouds gathering.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30916641.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/1_Al-Qaeda-Training-Camp-Video-Stills.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30911598.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/1_MAIN-pilot.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> US fighter pilots went on 9\/11 kamikaze mission to crash into hijacked plane<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cThe international community must not sleepwalk into another 9\/11.
