Tata Motors is all set to launch a heavily updated version of the Nexon later this year. New details about the engine and transmission options along with variant details have now surfaced online.<\/p>\n
According to a media report, the Nexon will be offered in Smart, Pure, Creative and Fearless trims. Each trim will get ‘+’ variants with additional features and (S) variants with a single-pane sunroof.<\/p>\n
The top-spec ‘Fearless’ trim is expected to get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 2-spoke steering wheel and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. New features like a 360-degree camera, wireless charger, ventilated front seats and a new HVAC unit with haptic touch controls will be part of the package.<\/p>\n
The Tata Nexon facelift will be offered with the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Reports suggest that entry-level petrol trims will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while higher variants will get a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic option. A 6-speed manual could also be offered on select petrol variants. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre diesel engine will continue with the 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT.<\/p>\n
