Russia to pull out of nuclear missile test ban as world teetering on WW3 edge
Russia is on the verge of pulling out of a treaty banning it from performing nuclear missile tests with fears they are pushing the world closer to the edge of World War 3 after events in Israel.
Despot President Vladimir Putin has often thrown around the threat of nuclear war ever since he first ordered his troops to invade neighbouring Ukraine in early 2022. And while he has yet to push the big red nuclear button – thankfully – it has now been claimed that he wants to pull the country out of a nuclear missile test treaty.
Earlier this month, Putin made a speech during an appearance at the Valdai Discussion Club, which was only really reported by local media. In it, he touched on nuclear weapons, and his comments have now snowballed into the possibility of the country performing nuclear weapons tests.

He said on October 5: “Let me remind you that there are two reasons stipulated in the Russian Military Doctrine for the possible use of nuclear weapons by Russia.
“The first is the use of nuclear weapons against us, which would entail a so-called retaliatory strike. “But what does this mean in practice? The missiles are launched, our early warning system detects them and reports that they are targeting the territory of the Russian Federation –this happens within seconds, just so that everyone understands – and once we know that Russia has been attacked, we respond to this aggression.

“The second reason for the potential use of these weapons is an existential threat to the Russian state – even if conventional weapons are used against Russia, but the very existence of Russia as a state is threatened. Do we need to change this? Why would we? Everything can be changed, but I just don't see that we need to.
“There is no situation imaginable today where something would threaten Russian statehood and the existence of the Russian state. I do not think anyone in their right mind would consider using nuclear weapons against Russia.”

However, despite the latter claim, it was confirmed by State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin that Russia is now considering revoking the country's ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treat, which was adopted by the UN in 1996.
If that does happen, it means Russia could carry out nuclear weapons testing – although it has had its own moratorium on nuke testing since 1991.
The worrying development comes as Israel has gone to war with Hamas terrorists in neighboring Gaza, which has now also seen the Jewish state attempting to defeat Hebzollah in Syria at the same time. Putin's Chechen warlord friend Ramzan Kadyrov offered to help Hamas, which has so far killed more than 1,200 Israelis.
