Netflix actress ‘drugged in bar’ woke in hospital not knowing how she got there
A Netflix star has claimed she was drugged in a restaurant before waking up in hospital with no memory of what happened.
Mexican actress Danna Paola, 25, most famous for her role in the series Elite, claimed she was targeted in the Spanish capital Madrid.
She says she suffered the shocking experience while filming the first season of the Netflix thriller.
Danna said she went to a plush restaurant with a pal in an expensive neighbourhood in the city.
After the pair shared a few drinks, the actress said they were approached by a group of lads inviting them to dance and smoke a shisha pipe.
Danna said she could not stay long because she had a shoot early the next day.
But when her friend left to go to the bathroom, Danna claimed one of the men grabbed her drink and asked: "Is this your glass?"
The actress responded yes and then took a sip. The 25-year-old said she began to feel dizzy and drowsy minutes later when she started to think that one of the men had spiked her drink.

The actress said she pleaded with the group, telling them she wanted to go home and claimed one of the men answered: "You aren't going anywhere".
Danna said: "I can't remember what happened next, I don't know how I got home, I don't know how I ended up in hospital."
Her friend took her back to her flat before deciding to take her her to hospital as her symptoms continued to worsen.
The actress made a full recovery and the police took a statement regarding the worrying incident.
When asked if she hated her attackers, she said: "It's not about hating men, it's about making them understand what it feels like for their victims."
Danna reminded women not to take drinks from strangers, adding: "No matter how strong and independent we are and how capable we are looking after ourselves.
"We don't know the intentions of other people and sometimes just flirting with someone can have fatal consequences."
