Man impregnates girl, 12, after raping her and takes victim to deliver baby
An alleged rapist impregnated a 12-year-old girl before bringing her to hospital to deliver the baby, foreign media reports.
Juan Miranda-Jara, 24, took the child to Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the US, on July 14, it is claimed.
The girl was already mid-labour, and doctors immediately called the authorities.
Tulsa police officer Danny Bean told Fox23: “They walked in just like any other couple would, excited to deliver their newborn child.”
Miranda-Jara allegedly boasted that he was the father of child and expected to bring the baby home with him.
He also had the 12-year-old listed as his girlfriend on his Facebook profile, it is claimed.
The baby was born healthy with no complications, and authorities do not believe the child is a product of incest.
Bean added: “We don’t get this kind of call every day.
“It certainly was a surprise for everyone involved.”
He continued: “We know there are many people in the community who are shocked by this, grossed out by this, disturbed by this, have questions, a whole range of emotions.

“But in time, we will be able to give the community the answers they want.
“We just don’t have all the answers right now to give them, and we don’t want to compromise the investigation that’s still happening and really just now getting started.”
Miranda-Jara was arrested and charged with first-degree rape.
Earlier this month, a twisted metal singer was jailed for raping young girls after meeting them at gigs and “brainwashing” them.

The 34-year-old groomed the girls in the country’s Hunter Region between 2005 and 2014.
He asked for his victims’ phone numbers at gigs before sending them sexual photos, theDaily Telegraphreported.
Hanson pleaded guilty to 23 charges of child sex and indecent assault at Newcastle District Court on July 9.
He was jailed for 28 years with a non-parole period of 21 years.
