Jamestown being evacuated as new fire sparks in Boulder County
Residents of Jamestown in Boulder County are being told to evacuate due to the new Calwood fire, emergency officials said.
Crews responded Saturday afternoon to fight the fire near the Cal-Wood Education Center, 2282 Boulder County Road 87, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office tweeted.
South St. Vrain (Colorado 7) has also been closed between Peak to Peak Highway and Lyons, including Riverside Drive, the Boulder Office of Emergency Management tweeted.
The Heil Valley Ranch and Hall Ranch have also been closed due to the fire, emergency officials said.
