The 13-second clip, which was shared online by @karolinahojda, a brave member of staff is also seen throwing water from an ice bucket over the fire before two fire crews arrived to assist.
Reports claim the fire started after a "sparkler in an alcoholic drink, which ignited wall decorations."
No injuries were reported from the scene.
A fire service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 11pm to Caffe Di Milano on Hurst Street. We sent two crews.
"The fire was out on arrival – the staff had managed to put the fire out before we got there.
"We made sure it was safe and completed damping down and cutting away of anything that wasn't safe. The stop came at 11.27pm."
Caffe Di Milano have since issued a statement on Instagram confirming they will remain closed until further notice.
It read: "Unfortunately, following the events last night we will remain closed until further notice.
"We would like to thank all of the Milano staff, who were able to control and extinguish the fire before fire services attended.
"We hope you appreciate this is a difficult time for the business, team and everyone involved in the incident. We ask that you please bear this in mind when sharing and commenting on such as sensitive situation.
