Adult star who broke back in foam pit still in pain with six herniated discs

Ex-adult star Adriana Chechik remains in severe pain despite surgery on a broken back, which she sustained by diving into a foam pit during Twitch's annual convention TwitchCon.

While filming the now-famous footage, the performer, jumped into the foam pit with a huge smile on her face, but her expression quickly changed when she landed on her back.

The 32-year-old released an almighty scream, as she clenched her spine in agony. She quickly rolled over in pain, telling the cameraman: "I can't get out."

Concerned, her team asked, 'Are you ok'? The adult star shook her head before burying her face into the foam in a bid to conceal her pain. Subsequently, a voice shouted for the medic, while others assured the crowd that she'd be ok.

In the year since, the performer, who has predominantly retired from the mainstream adult industry in favour of creating gaming content and posting on OnlyFans, has documented her journey through the ups and downs of recovery.

On October 29, Chechik took to Twitter to explain the difficulties of what she's been through and how she's been able to keep pushing forward.

She wrote: "This year, I’ve learned so much about my own strength and will to achieve my goals. I started doing 5 to 6-day-a-week workouts at 7 AM for the past two months. I’ve been doing physical therapy seven days a week for close to a year now. I cannot explain how hard it is to motivate yourself every morning when you’re suffering with chronic pain."

Chechik's recovery was not a simple process. While she underwent surgery for her back injury, it didn't clear up all her issues. However, through hard work and determination, she's beginning to start feeling happier.

She explained: "On top of the back surgery, it caused six herniated discs to my lower spine that offers constant irritation. However, I have pushed through my tears and reached my goal weight. I am well on my way to becoming the healthiest I’ve ever been and having my body be the strongest it’s ever been."

While her road to recovery has been anything but easy, according to medical experts, if she continues to work hard, she has every chance of getting back to how she was before the accident.

Chechik revealed: "I’m praying that every day I get stronger, it’ll be another day in my future I will have less pain. I was told from my physical therapist and doctors that if I can maintain a six-pack, I will be able to support my spine and live with less issues."

And now, the American's focus has switched from herself, to others, in the hope that her journey can inspire people who've gone through similar troubles, to get into the gym and return to full physical health.

She concluded: I’ve overcome a lot of things in my life, but I can say that this is the biggest challenge I’ve ever been faced with. I can’t wait to share my story routine and struggles with all of you, because if I can overcome this, hopefully, it will inspire you to challenge yourself no matter what stands in your way!"
